In partnership with:

Empowering Talent. Accelerating Careers. Building the Future.

The Global Energy Training Sponsorship Initiative, an industry-first program designed to expand access to high-quality, industry-recognized training for aspiring and transitioning energy professionals. As part of our ongoing effort to provide discounted and high-quality energy industry training opportunities, we’re thrilled to introduce a new sponsorship initiative.

This initiative connects selected candidates with fully funded or heavily subsidized training opportunities, offered in partnership with top-tier providers. In addition to training, successful candidates may also receive support in securing employment after course completion and be featured as case studies in our upcoming Energy Skills White Paper and wider marketing campaigns.

How It Works

Complete the Industry Questionnaire

If you haven’t already, you will be asked to complete our Industry Questionnaire, designed to gather insights on workforce trends, skills, and candidate perspectives in the energy sector.

Completion of the questionnaire is required to be considered for the Global Energy Training Sponsorship Program but does not guarantee selection, sponsorship, training placement, certification, or employment.

Personal data submitted through the questionnaire will be processed for survey analysis, program administration, and eligibility assessment in accordance with the Survey & Sponsorship Privacy Notice. If you choose to proceed, you will be asked to complete additional screening questions to help assess eligibility and suitability for available sponsored or subsidised training opportunities.

Screening questions
Select the course(s) you’re interested in and are relevant to you from the dropdown (After reviewing courses in the Sponsorship offering/nominated courses section below). Before proceeding, please review the full course descriptions, including location, timeframes, prerequisite qualifications or experience, and any costs not covered by sponsorship (such as travel or accommodation, where applicable).

Course dates, locations, and availability may be subject to change and will be coordinated with selected participants based on training partner availability and operational requirements. Screening responses may be shared with program partners and relevant training providers for the purposes of selection and program administration.

Submitting screening information does not guarantee sponsorship, training placement, recruitment opportunities or any specific outcome.

The Global Energy Training Sponsorship Initiative offers a limited number of fully or partially sponsored training opportunities. The Program is discretionary, subject to availability, eligibility criteria, and funding, and may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn at any time. By proceeding, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Program Terms & Conditions and acknowledge the Survey & Sponsorship Privacy Notice, which explain how the Program operates and how your personal data will be processed. You may also be contacted by Energy Job Search and program partners (including Global Energy Skills (“GES”) and NES Fircroft) regarding the initiative, and you may be invited to participate in optional case studies or campaign content, subject to separate consent where required.

Submit your CV via our application link  (integrated with NES Fircroft’s recruitment system) so the talent team can assess alignment with training and job opportunities. CVs submitted through this process are processed by NES Fircroft and/or other program partners acting as independent data controllers, in accordance with their own terms and conditions and privacy policies. Uploading a CV does not guarantee sponsorship, training placement, interviews, or employment. Final decisions are made by the Partners based on objective program requirements, available seats, and alignment with training/employment outcomes.

Submitting your information, completing the survey, or progressing through screening does not guarantee selection, sponsorship, course placement, certification, or employment. Your participation does not create any entitlement to awards or opportunities.

Energy Job Search acts only as the platform host. Sponsorship decisions and training delivery are made by initiative partners and independent providers.

By clicking “Complete the survey” you confirm that you have read and agree to the Program Terms & Conditions and acknowledge the Survey & Sponsorship Privacy Notice.

Training Partners

Training Partner Highlights

We’ve partnered initially with a select group of training providers who have nominated specific courses to be included in this sponsorship initiative. These courses outlined below, offer dedicated, fully or partially funded seats, exclusively available to participants of this program.

This initiative is designed to be ongoing, with new training partners and sponsored courses expected to be added regularly. Please therefore look to further check back on this page and be alert for our marketing updates for future sponsorship opportunities.

Just the beginning

The Training Sponsorship Initiative is designed to grow into a long-term, industry-wide program. Currently we have over 78 fully funded course seats for the initial launch with a combined cost of over $230,000 worth of courses. Over the coming months, we will be aiming to expand the number of accredited training partners involved, onboarding direct employers into the initiative, and increasing the volume of sponsored course seats available.

Our aim is to build a continuous, scalable pathway where candidates can access funded training, gain visibility with hiring organisations, and move directly into real employment opportunities. What you see now is only Phase One, with the plan for more to come as this ecosystem develops.

About Dailey Training Services (DTS)

Dailey Training Services (DTS) is a mission-driven training and workforce development company built on a simple principle: For Techs, By Techs.

Founded by Derric Dailey, who rose through the ranks as a technician himself, DTS designs every program from the ground up based on real-world experience. Whether it’s standing in front of a control panel, climbing a turbine tower, or walking onto a job site for the first time, DTS understands what it takes.

DTS specializes in safety and technical training across sectors such as wind, solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power generation, but their true focus is competence, not just compliance.

“We don’t just teach the how, we teach the why.”

Technicians leave with confidence, critical thinking skills, and the situational awareness needed to make sound decisions in the field. The goal isn’t just a certification card, it’s a safer worker, a stronger crew, and a more resilient project.

For sponsors and employers, that philosophy delivers a return on investment, not just good intentions. DTS programs are designed to:

  • Reduce incidents
  • Shorten time-to-productivity
  • Improve workforce retention

By combining essential safety certifications: OSHA, NFPA 70E, HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR/AED, with human skills like communication, financial literacy, and mental health resilience, DTS produces well-rounded, job-ready candidates.

They also implement feedback loops such as before/after assessments, supervisor input, and field performance checks to deliver measurable outcomes, not just attendance records.

For employers and scholarship partners, that means fewer costly mistakes, stronger crew stability, and better results in the field.

At DTS, legacy matters. And that legacy is clear:

  • Well-trained technicians
  • Safer projects
  • Stronger families

Additional Course Insights & Guidance:

Why the Safety & Employability Pathway is Recommended
Dailey Training Services recommends the Safety & Employability Program as the most impactful starting point for long-term workforce success. This pathway builds core safety awareness and professional standards that increase placement options, reduce dropout risk, and support broader career transitions. For many participants, it provides the most sustainable on-ramp into technical energy-sector roles.

Prerequisites for GWO and CMRP Certifications
To support successful participation in more advanced technical training, a number of GWO and CMRP certifications require specific health, registration, and course sequencing steps.
